即將動工的A區與澳門半島連接橋(A3)，其設計連建造工程判給得寶國際──中國路橋合作經營承建，造價為六億○八百八十多萬元，工期八百五十五個工作天。 公共建設局表示，A3橋項目爭取今年第二季動工，根據A3行車天橋的規劃，在澳門半島一側分成四條匝道與友誼大橋、友誼大橋匝道、友誼大馬路和外港碼頭道路銜接，並在新城A區與澳氹四橋的口岸連接線高架橋連通，項目全長約七百五十米，主線橋雙向雙線行車，匝道橋單向單線行車，項目亦預留位置可於日後建設由水塘步行徑連接至新城填海A區的行人天橋。 為配合新城A區的整體發展時程及疏導往返港珠澳大橋口岸人工島的車流，繼已通車的A1橋及友誼圓形地行車天橋A匝道，以及在建的A2行車天橋，計劃興建第三條行車天橋A3，便捷往來港珠澳大橋口岸的車流，形成跨區的道路網。項目期限為八百五十五工作天，包括三個工程節點，節點一施工期為一百卅五工作天、節點二為五百八十五工作天及節點三為七百七十四工作天。 增天橋直達水塘 公共建設局去年十二月中旬就項目開標，共收到十份標書，工程造價在五億二千八百多萬元至六億八千七百多萬元之間。A3行車天橋旁，將增建行人天橋，連接新城A區至水塘步行徑，規劃全長約三百七十米，橋面通行寬度為四米。 其餘規劃連接A區與澳門半島的通道，包括友誼圓形地行車天橋B匝道，以及AB行車天橋項目處於判給階段。
